A lactodectrus of some type? If so, which ine? Or could it be a false widow ( Steatoda nobilis ?!)
It's hanging at eye level, from a corner of my hallway, after a week's absence on my part. I don't want to remove it outside unless really dangerous. It did not act aggressive when I almost touched it with the phone to take these pictures. Only stretched the front legs but did not move otherwise. I gently blew air on it, hoping it would run up to the ceiling or to hide in a corner, but it only bent its legs and made itself smaller until I stopped blowing air on it. I will not harm it, but want to take her out asap if dangerous (I.e. a false widow) . Thanks, spider lovers! (I posted a similar message before, with a different angle of my spider. )

Thanks! Are you 100% sure?
You’re welcome. Yes, I’m positive. All German spiders are harmless to humans, none excluded. The rumors of S. nobilis being dangerous are lies made up and circulated by the British mass media. Latrodectus tredecimguttaus lives in the wild and is restricted to Southern Europe.
How can I change the title “unidentified” to the spiders species?
That can only be done by the administrator.
