would love to identify this spider as I had a odd bite on my leg that that was painfull for a week and am wondering if this was the culprit…..

The Brown Recluse can only be found in the U.s.a.

This is most likely a Noble False Widow (Steatoda nobilis). Providing this was the culprit, there is no reason to worry.
