Never seen this type before. It fell off the door when I opened it and it caught my eye. The round cylinder to the right of the spider is a 1" wooden dowel, for size comparison. Sorry for bad quality of picture. Any idea as to what species? I think its a Wolf Spider from my readings but I couldn't see any hairs.
Anyone recognize it?

I would think this is most likely a Dolomedes scriptus, a kind of Fishing Spider. https://bugguide.net/node/view/1461678/bgimage As for the hair, Fishing Spiders (Dolomedes spp.) are usually as hairy as most Wolf Spiders (Lycosidae spp.).
