Can anyone identify what type of spider it is? It was just dangling from the ceiling with its legs curled up in a ball like position. It was motionless just hanging there from the ceiling

Crevice Weaver (Kukulcania sp.), they are harmless. Males of these species look very similar to Brown Recluse (Loxosceles spp.). Example of a male Kukulcania sp. https://spiderid.com/picture/8230/
