Pisaurina mira. My first male Nursery Web Spider. He moved much faster than the females I've photographed, he kept racing around in front of me.

I think I just came across one of those this morning in the lakes region nh . Could be a barn funnel spider. I also came across something that said it could be a hobo spider but I’m not sure if we have those in nh.
Good News in 2 Parts: 1. There isn’t scientific proof that Hobo Spiders, Eratigena agrestis, have medically significant venom. 2. The species lives in the Pacific Northwest of USA. https://bugguide.net/node/view/33976 We do have other species in family Agelendidae that make funnel webs. I’m watching a big black spider with a funnel web in my neighborhood. I’m trying to get a photo of it out of it’s web so I can ID it.
