Almost all spiders have venom, but only a few species have venom that is medically significant. Few of those few live in Canada.

First off there is no Loxosceles reclusa (brown recluse) in Alberta or Canada for that matter. This spider is a Pardosa sp. ( thin legged wolf/leopard spider)
