It looks a lot like a black widow in body and size might but a bit bigger but it is a lot more red then the photo shows. It's crazy red.

The closest spider I know of on the East Coast is a male Common House Spider, such as Parasteatoda tepidariorum. They are in the same family, Theridiidae, as Widows, but their venom is not medically significant to people. I haven’t even heard of anyone getting bitten by one. I usually find the males with a female waiting for a bug to come along. The males look redder and have what I think of as a “monkey” way of moving.
That’s probably what it is then it did go up the web kinda wobbly like. There is a bigger different shaped spider behind it but you can’t see it. It kept attacking the smaller one when it got near. The red onenwas making a web to close to the other one it seemed.
Yes, that’s the spider version of domestic violence. The males keep trying to approach to mate and the female may attack them. I watched a male keep approaching a female until he dropped dead trying.
