I believe this spider is a Mabel Orchard Orb-weaver. I photographed it on Friday, June 24, 2022, at 1:29 PM. This spider has spun a large web in the corner of my fence by my back door. The web is out in the open in a partially sunny and shady area. My home is in Mid-City New Orleans. The picture is so lovely, so I thought I should send it to you.
