Comments & ID Thoughts
This is the back.
It was found on the bathroom ceiling behind the door in a dark corner- no web, just hanging out. It's small. Entire body (legs included) is the width of my middle finger first digit joint.
The stomach is a light tan with dark brown spots (5) on the abodomen. Was not bothered by the flash on my phone, nor did it move when captured in a jar.
From underneath, the legs appear to attach at the body in a "crab-like" joint, and the "face-balls" look like a thick v pinscher. No noticeable hairs on the body or on the legs (legs appear banded with irregular darker stripes).
Google lens brought up Bowl and Doily Spider and False Widow. I can't identify confidently- and with two small babes in the house that is very important!
Your help is so very much appreciated!!!!!

it looks like it could be a false widow? not sure which species for sure, best guess would be a boreal combfoot (steatoda borealis). very unlikely to be harmful
