This arrived in a package from Amazon ( I think originally Brazil). I accidentally touched it. It was still alive. What does it mean if it's found in its web? Please tell me what kind of spider this is!

Hi, this looks like it could be a Bold Jumper (Phidippus audax). This species is found locally and has a widespread range in North America.
