Hi there I am a green novice who’s particularly bad with wolf spiders so forgive me if im wrong. I think this might be a type of grass spider maybe in Agelenopsis. .. thats cause of the long spinnerettes and the spines on the legs. The red dots I am more confident of. They are parasitic mites. They feed off a host and then drop off and find another spider host. They don’t kill the host but I don’t think anyone knows if the spider is negatively affected by the interaction or not..
