Argiope aurantia, a Black and Yellow Garden Spider. This photo is interesting. The orb (circle) web is sloppy at the exterior. Recently researchers found that the legs work independent from the spider’s brain for web building. The brain part usually leads to the orb weaver correcting bad angles in the web. At the center half the straight line threads are partial or missing and the circle threads are all minds of wrong. The stablimenta (zig zag) is usually there when the spider is resting.
