Hi. These are not spiders, they are in a different order. Order Solifugae – Windscorpions. Known by a few common names: Camel spider, sun spider, Solies. They look to have 10 legs but the first pair are the pedipalps. They don’t produce venom or toxins. They are no threat to humans but if grabbed in the hand, they can deliver a hefty pinch with those powerful mouth parts. Benificial in yards and gardens. Yours is a male, most likely Eremobates species. A native to north America. Found indoors, just sweep into a dustpan and return to your yard or garden. Genus Eremobates… Read more »
