Joot

It’s a black widow.

It might be a False Widow (Steatoda Genus). Reason being is that the front and back legs are longer then the side legs. Black Widows tend to have more thicker legs/joints. Black Widows tend to be more black.

I’m just a site visitor like yourself. But Joot is a site volunteer and really knows what she is talking about. Juvenile widows come in a variety of shades. One to fit every decor :-). Steatoda don’t have the long pale bands on their legs but juvenile widows do. And the pattern is very juvenile widdowish too. A stripe running up the center of the abdomen with pale oval dashes on the side. Sorry Dpaladin.
