Comments & ID Thoughts
This is a species in the Steatoda Genus. Possibly a Steatoda Triangulosa. Was photographed at night time under the metal stairs next to side door. On the concrete wall that is very wet under stairs. Had multiple white spots in a pattern I have not seen before.

Also, didn’t have the round bulbous abdomen like Steatoda Grossa. The abdomen is in a pointed shape, just like a arrow-head.
I think this is still a lovely little S. grossa. They can be very variable. Steatoda are different shapes at different stages of their life cycle. The females can be that pointed arrow shape after laying eggs. Their abdomen stretches when carrying eggs and doesn’t bounce back once the eggs are laid. I just found out that from TangledWeb on this site the other day.
Oh thanks for teaching me something new!!! Im learning more and more daily.
