The photo is deceiving...this spider was HUGE. It was easily the size of my palm. Found crawling on the wall in our hotel room in Arusha,Tanzania. Likely crawled in through an open window

Hi. your not so little friend is a huntsman spider. Sparassidae family.
They are not medically significant.
I see what may look a white moustache that would suggest Heteropoda venatoria species.
One I caught completely covered my hand with legs. (not so little)
If you can tolerate their presence, they are great roach and moth catchers, even in total dark.
They are known as cane spiders in Hawaii.

This would be a her, Males look to have a ‘pac-man’ pattern on the carapace.
Smaller but just as leggy and quick.
