My grandma saw this in her backyard and wanted to know what type of spider it is. I think it might be a brown recluse but idk.

Hi. First, there are no brown recluse in Nevada and this spider looks nothing of the sort.
I can see this well enough to say it is an orb weaver, likely a cross spider.
Another possible is a furrow spider.
They are not medically significant at all.
