I know very little about spiders, but found this one on the door handle of our sliding screen door. I'm in East Central MN. She's quite small, as you can see her compared to the door screen. Is that an egg sac she's guarding? Thanks!

Hi. This is a shed exoskeleton (exuvium). I don’t see any egg sac.
It would take a microscope to identify the spider or keep an eye on the web for the host spider.
Cicada’s are notorious for leaving theirs on trees.
Yeah, Ive been finding tons of Cicada brownish exoskeletons around here in Greenville, SC area. After a rain storm I found 2-3 under the same tree.
