Comments & ID Thoughts

These spiders appear randomly in my room throughout the year for years now. I am not sure what season they mostly appear but I think it is during late-summer

Hi. Not a confirmation here but sure looks like a giant house spider. Eratigena atrica species.
This is a male and this time of year, adults abandon their web to hunt for mates.
They pose no threat at all to humans or pets, some few even keep them as pets.
In some regions, these can be found year round, especially indoors.
