No idea what kind of spider this is, but we’ve had a few this year already in our garden. I believe the white ball is a sac of eggs.

We have these in Youngstown Ohio too.. I found one in my dandelion greens that I carried in from the garden box.. It had an egg sack. It looked exactly like your photo.It was about 2 inches long.. It was sitting in my salad bowl on top of the greens, before I rinsed them off.I almost picked it up,thinking it was a dead flower. I WAS WRONG! :/
Today i saw one similar to this but much larger for this species, almost as big as my palm but too small to be a tarantula(tarantulas are also not native to my region)and she was carrying her egg sac the same way
