I have been told it is a huntsman or wolf spider however the picture does not seem to fully match to those I found it and my children's room so I am trying to verify what we are doing

Hi. This is an Olios giganteus. AKA golden huntsman. AKA giant crab spider.
They are no threat at all. This one is a male. Seen too many people catch them with cups and wind up breaking a leg or two. Easier to just corral them with hands. They are pretty chill then and escort him back outside.
