Picture of unidentified spider

Comments & ID Thoughts

My home seems to be crawling with spiders lately. Some are larger bodied like this example and some more fine and “silky”. There’s no funneling or weaving that I can see just individual sliders found both inside and out. Some right in front on my face while sitting in the sofa. Some in the bath tub. Some tiny. Some larger.

This spider is similar to the ones I’ve seen between the storm windows of my historic home but different from the brown almost translucent ones found inside. Smaller spiders are dark bodies compared to larger ones which are a light brown silky color.

Funnel orb, Sac. Recluse?

Yellow sac spider, genus Cheiracanthium.

I can’t speculate on what other spiders are. Provide a pic, and we can tell you, But wolf spiders don’t make webs. They’re ranging hunters… like wolves. Spiders aren’t gross.
