I wish I had a guess but I have no idea :( I don’t think I’ve ever seen one of these in our home before (Los Angeles). He was hiding on my desk this morning. Very fast mover, was only able to snap a couple mediocre pictures before he/she was gone.

This is a Salticidae, a jumping spider, specifically Phidippus adumbratus. Male.
