I had trouble snapping a clear pic since the spider was on a spider thread which stretched about 25’-30’ between a tree trunk and a bush at 7 feet across my driveway. The picture I found on your website was definitely an accurate depiction of what I saw, a “ Gasteracantha cancriformis”. The red crown like belt and the silk bunches along the thread were present.
