She’s an Orbweaver. We use the dorsal image (top of the spider) to ID to species level. Her goal is to eat big insects and nourish the eggs inside of her. She’ll make an egg sac in Autumn. So, the last day of Summer is a perfect time to relocate her. She needs a structure to support her web. They like hand rails, porches, sheds, clotheslines, tree or shrub branches, and fences.
