Picture of unidentified spider

Comments & ID Thoughts

Steatoda Grossa. I found this spider hanging upside down as I usually find them. If you take a picture of a Steatoda Grossa's lateral abdomen side - you will notice faded spots - in many cases (especially young Grossa's).

I let spiders crawl over my hand. This one...instead of climbing onto hand and going across hand and off - decided to climb up my hand and venture up my wrist. Then it decided to climb on the other side of arm/wrist where I couldnt see it anymore. It eventually came down and was relocated safely back to its spot.
