From this angle the abdominal pattern looks a little different and there are 8 other species in the genus listed for India so I’ve filed it to genus.

I know u would say this that and is right on your part. But even then i would tell u this specimen had the characteristic white spots on his abdomen when i caught him after a few days .. When i was gonna release him (the day of the photo) they had eventually faded away
