Comments & ID Thoughts

Every year we see this type of large spider in the pool. Only during the month of June. It is approximately the size of the palm of my hand. I’m wondering if it falls out of the large oak tree over our pool?

(Edited, accidentally left a link to a Jumping Spider.)

Sorry, I don’t know how I managed to leave the wrong link up there. Your spider is a Wolf Spider (Lycosidae) and has nothing to do with the one I linked to.
