Comments & ID Thoughts

Found this guy inside by wasp trap. My toddlers play a lot outside so I’m curious to know what this is and if I should be worried about them. Also would like to know so i can let him out of so. Thanks

Hi, this is a Wolf Spider (Lycosidae). Like most spiders they have venom but are unlikely to bite except in self defense and are not considered to be of medical significance. I’d let it go.
