Comments & ID Thoughts
This spider was found in my house at Lake Wallenpaupak which is in the Pocono region of Pennsylvania.
It was originally seen in the doorway to a bedroom.
The house is dry and it is a vacation home so no one was there all week.
I scooped it up in a cup and took the spider outside.
It was very large...maybe 4-5 inches across.
I looked but couldn't find what type it is.
I'd like to know if I should be on the lookout for more in my house.
And are they dangerous or just look that way?
