This is a Black Widow spider, female, I believe.
It looks like a Latrodectus Hasselti female, though the location is far out of Hasselti’s range in Australia and New Zealand.
Oh, had to look that up and they do look very similar. I believe the one here is Latrodectus Theridiidae.
I see now, it’s clearly a Mactans. The red marking is ventral, but I had mistakenly thought it was dorsal. Theridiidae is the family designation of all Latrodectus spiders.
