Do you have any other pictures? Spider silhouettes are difficult to identify. I’m tentatively thinking some kind of jumping spider.
No, but it did kind of jump when I tried to catch it and then balled up. I thought it died when I shined a light on it, but it just went back to regular and started moving.
Well, if you see one like it, be sure to submit another picture! I’d be interested in knowing what it is. Although someone with enough knowledge might be able to get it down more precisely by looking at the leg orientation (I’ve heard somewhere that that means something, but I’ve never figured out how to use it).
It is a male spider but cannot confirm if it is a jumping spider.. The body structure looks just like a jumping spider but i have never heard of any curling up behaviour when approached .. I mean they would play dead for a second if handled very roughly
