Was wondering what spider this is. I found it with a yellow and red stripes along its abdomen ( picture attached). I put the spider in a container so I could figure out what species it was and after about five minutes it had changed colors to a light brown and dark brown stripes (other picture).

This is interesting. What are the red dots in the background behind the spider? A test to find the true color of a color-changing spider is to put the spider in a plain brown box and wait to see what the basic color is that it reverts to.
