Totally safe! The photo isn’t bad at all. This is a Cellar Spider in family Pholcidae. A common one, for reference, is Pholcus phalangiodes. They’re quite mellow. My house has lots of them. The only time they’re interactive with me is when they’re thirsty and want water droplets from the kitchen sink or a watered houseplant. Then they might drop down from the ceiling to see if they can get a drink. They eat other spiders, insects, mites, and probably any organic misc. bits they can find. 🙂
