Please help me find out if this is a danger.
It is safe. This is a Crab Spider. I don’t know which one specifically, they are all harmless to people. It might be capable of biting you in self – defense if you handle it roughly against bare skin. Its venom is not medically significant to humans, Crab Spiders hunt by waiting where they expect prey to show up and not see them. The spider grabs the prey and pulls it against its fangs. I didnt check locations, but Mecaphesa seems like a genre in which your spider may be present.
