The way you took the photo is excellent. It shows how the spider’s fangs wrap around and pierce sideways. These spiders have fangs that kill pillbugs/ sowbugs/woodlice….the flat oval isopods that curl into an armored sphere in self-defense. I think this is pretty cool. In sphere form, the woodlouse has chitin armor almost everywhere but the seam that is the thin side of the flat bug.
