Comments & ID Thoughts
I don't really have a guess. We caught this spider with my relocation jar. It was in the corner in the kitchen under a dustpan. No web. It didn't immediately react to our presence, but when I slid the card under the jar opening and touched the spider it became very active. It's worth noting that to the eye in natural light it looked a lot more reddish brown than in these photos (uploading 3 of the same spider) It was about the size of a US 5 cent coin including legs. We're in a house up in the mountains in Málaga Andalucía Spain a little south of and between Villanueva de la Concepción and La Joya but a bit higher up in elevation. It's entirely possible that this guy (or gal) rode in under the lid of a cooler I left in the garage for a couple of days and brought back in. We found it right behind the chair the cooler was on.

This looks (to my admittedly untrained eye) to be the right answer! Thanks!
You’re welcome. It’s a gal, by the way 🙂
