I find these spiders in the shower corners and on the shower curtain frequently in Kentucky. I think it’s a cellar spider but I would like to verify it isn’t something more dangerous like the brown recluse.

This is absolutely a Cellar Spider. I don’t know if it is even possible for their fangs to pierce our skin. My house has lots of them. They eat other spiders and moths in the Winter. The legs are the easiest way to tell them apart from Brown Recluses. Cellar Spiders have clear round leg joints with dark bands before and after each joint.
