No idea what species this is, and it's interesting that its abdomen looks like a Japanese horror mask.

It looks like an elderly female spider, from the shrunken rumpled abdomen and the time of year. That can distort the markings’ appearance. The markings resemble Steatoda nobilis, but the legs and body don’t. She might be an Orbweaver in genus Neoscona. Here’s a reference link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neoscona_arabesca Neoscona oaxacensis is another possible species. Check out pics of Steatoda nobilis, the markings on some resemble a skull in a hoodie. https://bugguide.net/node/view/1762566/bgimage
That looks very close, but another spotter identified it as a noble false widow spider (Steatoda nobilis), which looks a little bit closer. https://amp.theguardian.com/environment/2015/oct/25/spider-false-widow-arachnid-poison-bite?fbclid=IwAR05F_GvTxafzSpXBxclJYerd5K2DXWNHVeW_Cq0EZzpUkG_q0HfHaKSaGw
