Hawai'ian Garden Spider (Argiope appensa)

She lived on our tractor from sometime in January until March 4 during which time we regularly put food in her web. On Feb 21, a male showed up while she was eating a gravid cockroach, courted her, and ended up dead and wrapped (lower right corner of photo). She produced an egg sac on 2/28 (it's also on the tractor). We check it daily but do not know if there will be spiderlings before we leave island on the 15th. She disappeared from the tractor on March 4.
