It was a very large spider. Looked like a mini tarantula. 1-2 inches. We found 2 within 2 hours of each other in our basement

Wolf spider. Lycosidae family.
Great thank you! So, just a black wolf spider. Good to know thank you. It was so large, I’d never seen one like this.
