https://bugguide.net/node/view/93509/data I think this is your Longhorned Beetle . BugGuide even has a Greenville sighting for it. It’s an Eastern half of the USA species, there’s a chance I might see one. I photograph almost every bug I see. It’s the first day of Spring, I was outside all day. All I saw was a total of two beetles for bugs. The ground is frozen solid below a few centimeters. At least my moss lawn melted all of the snow. The moss generates heat, so do some of my ornamental garden plants. The grass lawns around mine are snow-covered.
Thanks for the info! You teach me something new every time you post! Very informative. Yeah…I like bugs, but don’t look for them or even try to research them at all. I just want to study spiders and that’s it. But it is important to sometimes add some fauna or insects in the spider environment of which I was in.
It’s still cold up there!!
