So common, even though they may not seem so to some people. You just have to learn where and on what plant (including) making sure you are near a certain feature common in forests. From my experience they can be found everywhere, but are easiest to find on Holly Trees and Magnolia type trees and bushes..even more so then any low shrub or green tree.
