Yes. It could also be a Brown Widow. If you still have it, flip it over. Black Widows have a line or row of red markings, Brown Widows have a more modernistic pattern. Feel free to submit a photo as a new submission. My best guess from the underside is Brown Widow.
As we both know it’s a Latrodectus genera. As far as Latrodectus geometricus or Latrodectus Hesperia etc…if I had to guess I would say not a Brown widow.
