I found this spider and its' web on a juneberry tree in my yard. This was the first time seeing a web of this type. The body is approximately 1.2 cm in length. The legs are approximately 2 cm in length. The stabilimentum is approximately 10 cm end to end.
I have no idea as to the type of spider. The photo was taken in Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan
