I should have described it. It’s white and cream colored and small. I was very surprised as one doesn’t come across a lot of spiders here in Spain, not like in Australia where I am from originally. The photo is not great, very sorry. I felt something itchy on my scalp, and I scratched it, and it popped out onto the bed. I’m not sure who was more surprised, myself or the spider?
I spent more time than usual 😉 on this one. My notes to myself and sketches of spiders look insane. I’m not sure even what family it is in. It might be in genus Oecobius. At least it didn’t get squished on your scalp. Spain’s spiders have a lot of overlap with the US. We overlap with England greatly too. I suspect most of the US spiders were accidentally imported. At least it makes it easier for us USA volunteers to recognize European spiders and for our European volunteer to recognize US spiders.
Thank you for dedicating your time. So glad I didn’t squish it, but I did become increasingly paranoid as my scalp was itchy for quite awhile,
but a new day has dawned and I’m still here and the freed spider too.

Is it a silver orb?
I’m just 35km away in Gavà and am visiting this website after spotting the same spider. I’m amazed that you’re so close and posted so recently!
Wow! So there you go, it must be native, we’re practically neighbours. Maybe someone can identify it?
Perhaps they are more visible in Spring?
