Mouse Spider?? It was found in a pest monitor alongside a wood louse. The monitor was in an exhibition area of a modern build.

I have just found one of these in Carlow (not far from you)
I’ve also posted a photo to be identified. Needless to say, this thing gave me a serious land when it appeared.
Need to know what it is as I’ve never seen one before.
It actually looks like a Brown Recluse spider. But they should be in North America, NOT in Ireland.
They’re also very venomous. Are we really finding Brown Recluse spiders in Ireland now?
Definitely seems like a mouse spider they usually hang out in dark moisty areas so under rocks and wood
I’m inclined to go with your description, Adamd1703. another one appeared and bit one of the staff at the site but it wasnt a venomous bite (I believe most spiders can bite if feeling threatened). thanks C
