I think this is a huntsman spider my guess would be Male, but I need somebody to confirm that
For size reference it was an inch and a half to 2 inches

I think this is a Selenops spider. Also known as “flatties”. It could be this one – https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/201420-Selenops-submaculosus
I don’t think this is a mature male. They have large swellings almost like pom-poms on the end of their pedipalps – that’s the 2 feelers around their “mouth” for want of a better word. I don’t know enough about them to say if it could be an immature male but my guess for what it’s worth is that it is female.
