Yes this is a Southern Black Widow. Therdiidae Latrodectus mactans. We know it’s not a Latrodectus varioulus (Northern Black Widow) because the second red dot on abdomen is not wider then it is high.
Nope. The Moderator is supposed to do that for you. The problem is that I inherited volunteering as the moderator for the site 3 years ago but I don’t have any of the technical controls for it. I’m waiting for the Administrator to to reprogram for that and for “moderator” to be near my name. Since the beginning of the pandemic photos aren’t getting labels and the statistics aren’t updated.
