Not a clue. Some friends and I studied it's appearance and habits for a while. It's defense mechanism seems to be camouflage, which it achieves by laying completely flat with it's legs outstreatched in front of it along a leaf or tree. Two club antennae on head. 4 eyes, I believe. We captured it for further analysis. Pls halp if we discovered a new species, that'd be great af.

Hi, it may have been Peucetia longipalps. You’re very observant, yes Peucetia species specialize in camouflage. I don’t know about this one, Peucetia viridans changes color. When it molts to grow bigger it emerges closer to the background color of wherever it is at that time. Yours looks like she is eating insect eggs in the photo. Spiders can have zero to eight eyes in all kinds of arrangements on their head, depending on the type of spider.
